Principal Designer and owner Cassy Kicklighter Poole, ASID brings a well-honed and well-traveled eye to Kaleidoscope Design. Originally from the east coast, Cassy lived all over the US and internationally during her formative years which ignited in her a passion and appreciation for architecture, design and style.
Cass pursued her passion further by studying Fine Art & Art History (University of Colorado Boulder) , Art History & French (Université Nice Sophia Antipolis, Nice France), and graduated with high honors with a Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design from The Art Institute of Colorado.
She launched Kaleidoscope Design in 2008, where her process-driven approach to design has earned her firm recognition through awards, publications and referrals as a top firm in Denver. Her goal with each project remains to deliver her clients an elevated version of their dream and an appreciation for a team that made the process transparent and enjoyable.

When asked if she has a favorite style or period of design, Cassy's answer is often surprising. "If anything, that goes against my philosophy. I choose to be open-minded for the benefit of my clients." She compares each design project to a puzzle where all of the pieces—client needs, trends, locations—are always unique. She understands her firm's role is to assemble all the pieces together to create beautiful spaces for living. Her favorite part of that puzzle? "I'm a relationship-driven person. I love bonding with clients. Every client has their own unique story, and I love building those relationships."
Her work ethic and experience is paired with a warm, funny and easy-going manner, creating confidence and trust making every design project fun. When she's not working with her clients, Cassy enjoys spending time outdoors, travelling and making memories with her family

austin
Austin was born and raised in the South and has always been inspired by beautiful design and attention to detail. She has been an integral part of the Kaleidoscope Design team since 2017 and is the lead designer at the Charlotte office. Her mother is an artist, and her youth was spent perusing antique stores and assisting her in designing and merchandising model homes. It only seemed natural that Austin would follow in her mother’s footsteps. With over 14 years of experience in the design field, Austin has a passion for solving design challenges and recognizes that no two projects are alike. She values fostering relationships and is committed to creating thoughtful, timeless designs that reflect the client’s lifestyle. On the weekends you can find Austin at the yoga studio, mountain biking, or spending time with her two Yorkshire Terriers.

Growing up in Minnesota, Kelli pursued a career in hair styling in Chicago after college. She has held positions in sales, retail, customer service and project coordination in high-end home furnishings. With a creative eye and attention to detail, she honed in on her organizational skills and passion for customer relations to join the Kaleidoscope Team as Project Coordinator.

Execution of beautiful design requires a balance of creativity, collaboration and forward-thinking within an organized and detail-oriented environment. Taking this beyond the norm for our industry is what Alix does best. An analytical thinker, she creates and manages processes that maximize Kaleidoscope’s capabilities to follow through with total completion on each aspect of design and project management. As a result, Kaleidoscope is able to take a client-centered approach that exceeds expectations and fosters efficient execution and effective communication.
